• The tower design incorporates an FRP distribution basin located at the top of the tower.
• The basin contains a number of flower-type target nozzles.
• Water is dispersed uniformly over the fill media by gravity.
• Water flows vertically down through the honeycomb fills.
• A horizontally placed fan, directly coupled to the motor, draws air across the fill media.
• A small portion of water evaporates, which removes heat from the remaining water.
• The warm, moist air is drawn into the fan/motor setup and discharged through the fan deck to the atmosphere.
• The cooled water is collected in the cooling tower collection sump.
• From the sump, the cold water is re-circulated back to the application.
